The area around the cabin was dark at night, and I didn’t feel great walking back in. The security info wasn’t very clear, and when I asked about it, the answers felt kind of vague. Maybe other people had a better experience, but I was uneasy the whole stay. The lack of clear communication just felt unnecessary.

We booked through Elk Springs Resort, and I was really glad the cabin actually matched the listing. The rooms, hot tub, and views were all pretty much exactly like the pictures, so it felt like we got what we were expecting.
There weren’t any weird surprises when we got there, which I always appreciate because some places look way better online. A friend had recommended checking them out, and I’m glad we listened. I’d definitely book again

We stayed at Elk Springs Resort and the cabin itself was fine, nothing amazing but totally okay for the trip. The frustrating part was when a couple things came up and we actually needed help.
I called and sent messages about the hot tub and a few cleaning issues, but the responses were slow. someone did get back to us eventually, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but it felt like we had to keep following up. Not the worst stay, just not the Great service I expected.

We stayed here thinking it would be a easy base for getting around, but the attractions ended up being way farther away than we expected. Maybe I should’ve checked the map more closely beforehand, but after a long day of traveling and trying to figure out dinner, it was kind of frustrating realizing how much extra time we’d be spending just getting places

Overall, we had a nice stay and the cabin itself was comfortable. That said, we did notice some ants in the kitchen, and at night we could hear animals moving around outside, which was a little unsettling. The staff was responsive and said they’d send someone out, and that did help a bit. It definitely didn’t ruin the trip, but I do wish the pest situation had been taken care of before we arrived...

The hot tub was a big letdown. When we got there it looked dirty, and even after trying to use it, it never really heated up the way it should. The jets were super weak too, so it wasn’t relaxing at all. We reached out for help, but it felt like we got stuck in a support loop with people saying they’d look into it and nothing actually changing. It was really frustrating since the hot tub was one of the main reasons we booked the place.

I booked a cabin and the process was straightforward for the most part. The only hiccup was the payment page, which felt a bit slow, and I ended up double-checking to make sure it actually went through. The confirmation came through after a little while, so everything worked out in the end, but the payment step could definitely be smoother.

The cabin itself was nice and comfortable overall, but it did feel like a few things needed some attention. Nothing totally ruined the stay, but you could tell maintenance was a bit behind. When I reached out, support basically said something like, “Thanks for letting us know, we’ll pass it along to the team,” which was fine, but I wish it had been taken care of a little sooner.

The cabin itself was okay, but umm, the pet rules felt a lot stricter than I expected and the extra fees really added up. It was kind of hard to fully relax with my dog there because I felt like I had to be careful the whole time. I probably wouldn’t book it again if I was bringing pets

We stayed here with family and had a good time overall. The cabin had nice games, a hot tub, and there was enough around nearby to keep everyone busy, which was great. Some parts did feel a little dated, like maybe they haven’t been given much attention lately, but it didn’t ruin the trip for us

We stayed at Elk Springs Resort the cabin itself was nice enough. It was clean, comfortable, and pretty much what you’d expect for a mountain getaway. But the internet was rough. The WiFi kept dropping, pages loaded like it was 2005, and trying to stream anything at night was basically hopeless.

Cell service wasn’t much better for us either, which I guess is just how these mountain places always are. I get that you’re not exactly in the middle of town, but we still needed to check a few work things and message family, so it got frustrating fast. If the WiFi had been even halfway reliable, the trip would’ve felt a lot smoother

It ended up being great for our family group. I didn’t expect much, but there was plenty of room for everyone to be together without feeling too cramped.

Stayed here for a few nights the bed was really comfortable. I slept well, and the linens felt clean and soft, which I appreciated. The pillows were okay, though a little flatter than I like. That said, I did feel a bit misled based on what I expected from the listing/photos, so that kind of took away from the experience. Still, the room was comfortable enough overall.

We stayed at Elk Springs Resort and had a really nice time. The cabin felt private and tucked away, which was exactly what we were hoping for. It was still an easy drive into town. The road in was a little sketchy at night, but not a huge deal. Overall, super quiet and relaxing.

I had to cancel our cabin last minute and was kind of expecting it to be a hassle. Thankfully, they got back to me quickly and explained everything in a way that was easy enough to understand. The refund did take a few days to come through, but overall it felt fair. Not perfect, but I was relieved after dealing with it

Overall, it was a good stay. The bathrooms were clean, which I always notice first for some reason, and the water pressure was okay, not amazing, but totally usable. I didn’t have any major complaints, and that’s kind of what I’m looking for most of the time

So... the price was mostly upfront and I could see the fees before actually paying, which I appreciated. It did feel a little pricey overall, but at least there weren’t any big surprises.

The cabin itself was nice, but the heating and AC really made the stay less comfortable. The heat barely seemed to work, and then the AC would randomly kick on at odd times, which was annoying. I’ve stayed at a few similar places where the climate control was much better and easier to manage, so this definitely stood out in a bad way...

well... the mountain views were definitely the highlight for me. In the morning, with the fog rolling through the trees, it looked really peaceful and pretty, and the area around the cabin had a nice quiet feel to it.
I’d probably give it 3 stars overall. The scenery was great, but the stay itself was just kind of okay. Nothing was terrible, but it also didn’t feel especially memorable beyond the views.
